Moving On After a Loss of Spouse: Taking Care of Yourself

After losing a spouse, taking care of ourselves mentally and physically is essential. When we feel healthy and strong, we are better equipped to move through our grief and move on with life.

Next, focus on your mental health. Take time for yourself and do something you enjoy. Hobbies help to provide a distraction, as well as an opportunity to move away from tough emotions. Meditation is another way to process those emotions healthily.
